- How do I know if I have a water leak?
Turn off all your appliances like washing machines, dishwashers and reticulation. Make sure nobody flushes the toilet or turns on taps. Then go and locate the water meter, which is usually in the front of your property in a garden bed or with a cover over it. Check to see if the digits are moving on the meter. If they are and you are sure everything else is off, then you more than likely have a water leak. Please call one of our friendly maintenance team members for assistance.
- How often does my anode in my hot water unit need changing?
We recommend replacing the anode in any hot water unit at least every three to five years, to gain the maximum life out of your tank.
Continuously leaking taps
If you have a tap or shower that refuses to turn off the most likely problem is washers.
If It is a hot tap we advice you turn off your hot water system using the isolation adjacent the hot water system. If it's a cold tap turn your main water supply off at street level and
call us immediately!
